Le-Bistro3Scoop OTP has been a fan of  Roswell Provisions  and Provisions for Home since we discovered them. Wine, cheese, French décor — what’s not to love?

But since we don’t live in Roswell and only get there every couple of months, we had no idea that Kelly Kakes, the cupcake-laden eatery just upstairs from Roswell Provisions, had converted to Le Bistro. We were so excited to find another lunch spot in Roswell!

The décor has gone from Kelly Kakes’ pink and black motif to what we adore at the French-style Provisions: lots of burlap, distressed wood and vintage photographs. Lots to look at — which I always love.

Le Bistro offers many yummy French options including quiches, Croque Monsieur, salads with poached pears and goat bistromenu2cheese, and traditional Parisien Jambon sandwiches. I ordered the quiche, because as luck would have it, every time I try to order quiche somewhere, they are out. So this was my lucky day!

Now, when I think French bistro, I tend to think of a feminine, girly meal. Our meals were served to us on heavy, Lodge Cast Iron Skillets. I took note of this to use as leverage when trying to convince my husband to come back to Le Bistro with me!

Untitled pictureThe food was very good. The server was friendly and the menu was moderately priced. We will definitely go back, hopefully sometime in the evening so that we can enjoy a cocktail and maybe even a seat on the balcony and pretend we are in the City of Lights. Try it yourself! And tell them Scoop sent you.

Extra Scoop: Provisions for Home is now located in the back of the restaurant! So once you order, you can stroll through the store and chat with owners Cyril and Kelly or one of their friendly salespeople.
