Posted by on Jul 31, 2017

By Charmelle Scott – Executive Director at BusiNeighbor Veterans Center Do you have to go to work or will you stay home and relax? Imagine you woke up tomorrow depressed, haunted by guilt, reminded of the smell of blood & gunpowder. You wonder if you will ever be at peace. Tomorrow 22 Veterans will commit suicide. Stone Mountain, GA — 08/01/2017 — Today marks an important first step towards the goal of opening the BusiNeighbor Inc. Veterans Recreation Center for all Georgia Veterans. BusiNeighbor, Inc. is hosting a community meeting open to Stone Mountain residents. Holding a community meeting is the first step in the zoning process to obtain a Special Land Use Permit under Dekalb County Zoning Ordinance Article 9 titled Recreation Club. The proposed facility is located at 5392 Old Rockbridge Road Stone Mountain Georgia. The Veterans Recreation center will be home to a food and clothing pantry, exercise room, computer lab, reading lab, and day room for relaxation. CAMP Skincare – All Natural and Organic Beauty Products

Posted by on Oct 27, 2016

If I asked you what ingredients are in your face lotion, could you name them? Or better yet, could you pronounce them? Having great skin is an indicator of one’s health. The skin is the largest organ on the body. It only makes sense to treat it with the utmost care. Most, if not all, mainstream beauty products contain harsh chemicals and preservatives. Ever heard of Phthalates or how about Tricolson? Yikes!  They are meant to last on a shelf, not on your face.  After cycling through multiple beauty products, I finally found one to call my own: CAMP Skincare, a Toronto based line of beauty products that promote smart skincare using only Mother Nature’s ingredients.  I am a huge fan of the “Ying-Yang Balancing Facial Oil.”  As a repeat customer, I find that this oil leaves my skin feeling super soft and hydrated.  Did I mention that it smells amazing!? Ingredients: Cherry Kernel Oil: “Very high in linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid known to effectively reduce acne while restores skin’s barrier function for a more supple, clear complexion.” Watermelon Seed Oil: “Contains over...

Gigantic Watermelon Slicer Tested

Posted by on Jul 3, 2015

BS TESTS has been awfully quiet until this most recent injustice awakened the Bull into a snarling mess of disappointment. This is a Watermelon Slicer that was purchased at Sam’s Club last summer and was never used until recently.  Currently it is not available and hopefully that will save you from making the mistake of throwing away ten plus dollars. First, the instructions suggest cutting both ends of the melon.  I guess without the old watermelon cutting knife that seem to work just fine, step one would not be possible.  This may also require a cutting board and lots of paper towels.  The flatter the end cut, we have learned the better it works.   Step 2: Place it on its circular juice catching tray, which oddly has a whole in the center so that the maximum amount of sticky juice squirts through it, onto your counter top. Step 3: Press the blades on top of the cut melon and push with as much force as you can humanly muster.  This may not be enough.  I can assure you this is...

I knew it was time to open a location of my own after learning all aspects of the company for five years,” said co-owner David Fogg. “When the founding partners told me that Tom Fay was interested in opening a Moe’s in another world class ski town, I was very interested. After meeting Tom and seeing his success in owning Pinky G’s, I was easily sold and knew it was a perfect fit to partner with him on this venture.” Recognized with many awards, Moe’s Original Bar B Que has been named one of the Top 10 Rib Joints in the...
