Quiet Riot Alienate Fans and Friends in and Attempt to Cover Wrong Doings to Now Fired Singer Mark Huff

After my article yesterday on Mark Huff, the now former Quiet Riot singer, fired as he sat in his hospital room having his head shaved for brain surgery; there was a mass pouring of emotions across the internet from fans and friends of Mark Huff. People asking for their money back for tickets they had purchased, and saying they only wanted to go to see Mark, among the many other outcries of anger over his wrong doing. Quiet Riot eventually released a half cocked statement, saying they sent Mark a certified letter and making insinuations that Mark may be lying about being in the hospital. From QR Facebook page: “With regards to Mark Huff: My policy has always been not to air out the dirty laundry in public. That policy remains the same even in light of those who chose to make accusations. The fact is that Mr. Huff’s medical condition had nothing to do with the decision that was made though it is unfortunate that it comes at such a time. His wife assured me that Mark would be home this week, and as legal protocol dictated, a certified letter was sent informing Mark of the decision that was made and why it was made. This was days ago. The content of that letter is a private matter unless Mr. Huff decides to make the reason for his dismissal made public which I believe would be counterproductive for him. I will not go tit for tat with this issue. If certain person wish to villainies me, that is their prerogative.” This statement from the band sent out a rash of angry protests from friends and fans alike, I myself as the writer of the original article that soared the web, ended up in a conversation on MY Facebook page with a certain drummers girlfriend, whom insisted that a certified letter had been sent by them to Mark Huff, and that Mark was lying, which only lit my fuse because I KNOW for a fact that Mark is not lying. Atlanta Musician Steven Marchi Missing for 15 Days!

Written by Duffie Dixon of 11 Alive Friends of a missing local musician are asking for the public’s help in locating him. 43-year-old Steven Marchi was last seen the night of August 12, 2011. His roomate Jeffrey Powell said Marchi left the apartment in in his green Dodge pickup that has a camper top and an Illinois license plate. Powell assumed he’d see Marchi in a few hours, but he and others have not seen or heard from Marchi since. “I didn’t think too much of it at first. I mean he’s a grown man and I thought he may have just been staying with a friend, but then I realized he left without his phone or his guitar,” said Powell. Other friends confirm Marchi is an avid musician and goes everywhere with his guitar and sheet music. Kelley Hagen said that’s what has her convinced something bad has happened to Marchi. “Anyone who knows him knows he is not without his guitar for more than a few hours. He’s also not someone who would leave a roomate without paying the rent or explaining if he was headed out of town,” said Hagen. In fact, Powell said Marchi is always prompt with his weekly rent. Powell is also convinced Marchi planned to be around for the coming week based on what he found in the refrigerator. Marchi, a strict vegan, had just purchased and cut up various produce and put it in containers for a week’s worth of meals. “There’s no way he would buy all of that, take all that time preparing it if he was headed out of town,” said Powell. Marchi has performed at a number of venues around Atlanta including Smith’s Old Bar, Eddie’s Attic and the Red Light Cafe. He was saving up money to pay for the release of a CD. Here is Bonnie’s answer and a preview to our Monday Morning Fat-2-Fit Article: What are simple ways to make proper diets easier? Here are simple guidelines to managing calories and weight loss 1. Eat 5 times a day (3 meals, 2 snacks). Eating often revs your metabolism, gives you energy and encourages fat loss. 2. Try to keep meals to 300-400 calories for women or 400-500 calories for men. This will help give you a guide to go by when eating out or preparing meals. (your daily caloric allowance should not increase 1200-1500 calories for women or 1500-1800 calories for men) 3. Keep snacks to 100-150 calories for women, 150-200 calories for men. 4. Don’t eat a snack or meal closer than 2 hours apart. This is a great rule to keep you in check. Many times we find ourselves looking in the pantry just 30 minutes after dinner. We aren’t hungry, we are just wanting to taste something. 5. Stick to whole foods and avoid processed foods like cereal, bread, pasta, etc to have more energy through out your day. 6. Listen to your body. When you are hungry, eat real food.  When you want to taste something, that’s the time to eat sugar-free jello. 7. Eat a 33/33/33 split. This means, with every meal you should be getting 33% of the calories from each substrate. (a 300 calorie meal would mean you were getting 100 calories from carbs, 100 from protein and 100 from fat. That’s 25gms of protein & carbs each (100 ÷ 4 calories in each gram of protein or carbs) and 11gms of fat (100 ÷ 9 calories per gm of fat). You’ll feel fuller longer AND you’ll be less likely to lose muscles instead of fat during weight loss) 8. Do cardio on an empty stomach, otherwise you’ll just burn off your food (instead...
