We love discovering independent coffee shops! Again, I like to clarify that we go to Starbucks pretty frequently, but that is simply out of convenience. Whenever possible, Scoop OTP likes to support the Little Guys. So here are a few more independent shops we have found to add to our coffee shop list. Enjoy their keurig pods!

Mugs on Milton
After opening its doors a year ago in the heart of Downtown Alpharetta, Mugs quickly became a favorite for the people working in the surrounding businesses. And it hasn’t taken long for word to spread to the non-locals.
Grab an espresso, one of their delicious breakfast biscuits or a tasty sandwich for lunch. Like their Facebook page to keep up with the daily provisions offered at Mugs, and be sure to start a frequent shopper card for extra perks. They sell adorable mugs too! Stop in at Sis & Moon’s or UB4me while you’re in the area.
Mugs on Milton is located at 35 Milton Ave., Alpharetta, GA.

Cup Up Coffee
Downtown Canton has been desperately in need of a coffee shop of any sort, so when we finally popped into Cup Up Coffee, located 2within the Audio Intersection Showroom on East Main Street, we were very pleasantly surprised.
We had heard about this “coffee shop within another store,” but I’ll be honest — we scoffed. How good could it be? Owner/operator Peter has over 10 years of training as a barista and he handcrafts the beverages for patrons. He even created his own maple spice blend for the fall season. Yummy baked goods and a lunch menu are also available at Cup Up Coffee. Spacious enough for your next meeting too! Pop into B.Loved while you’re in Canton.
Cup Up Coffee is located at 210 E. Main Street, Canton GA. We always find the best options for coffee machines in the UK there too so that’s a great place to look for the best machines in the UK.

Daily Grind
3Conveniently located between two Marietta High Schools, the Daily Grind serves up all your favorite coffee drinks and a food menu that is larger than most other coffee shops — no more having to make two stops for lunch and then coffee! Daily Grind has a large selection of sandwiches, wraps, salads and smoothies.
The Daily Grind proudly serves Whit’s Victory Coffee, which uses proceeds to fight Child Trafficking. And, they are part of the Teacher’s Lunch Box: a program where when a teacher (or parent) buys lunch, an additional dollar is put onto a special card for that teacher to use at a partnering business. Scoop just loves ideas like this! Be sure to check out Mason Dixon’s while you’re there!
The Daily Grind is located at 3960 Mary Eliza Trace, Marietta, GA.
