Welcome to the newest Bold Spicy Poll. There were so many award worthy productions in the 80’s it was so hard to narrow it down to 13 or so of what could possibly be our readers’ favorite. Ghost Busters, Weird Science, and Sixteen Candles were all cut in the final hours though it is off course ‘cimematastic’ blasphemy not to include them. Bull Durham, Field of Dreams, and Rain Man were obvious contenders, though too timeless, in our opinion for a strictly “80’s” list. Chariots of Fire and Full Metal Jacket were just not good enough and were actually edged out by Poltergeist and Who Framed Roger Rabbit. We ‘un-included’ all fully animated choices for a future poll. Please Vote while you’re here. It really does not matter much, because The Princess Bride will win based on no possible existence, of the argument, that this movie is not the best movie, 80’s or otherwise, of all time.
