The James H. Ankrom Gallery is excited to announce an exhibition of one of Georgia’s finest artist Wanda Locke. Locke paintings, murals, prints and sculptures are located in museums of natural history in Georgia, North Carolina, Florida, and Alabama and in other collections throughout the United States. In 2008 she completed her last series of six paintings, each 4’ x 6’ of the six days of creation, before she went home at the age of 67. This exhibit should not be missed; Wanda Locke’s work is incredible. Her family will be on hand and prints of her work are available for purchase.
Additionally, a list of classes held at CCS will be available and there will be artists working throughout the evening. Deborah Kepes has been holding classes in her home studio for many years and as the classes grew she found it necessary to find a public venue in which to teach. Stop by and discuss with one of the artist your interest in registering for the next class session.
